Celgard's proprietary trilayer technology is a key feature which differentiates Celgard® battery separators from those manufactured by other battery separator suppliers. This unique process capability allows Celgard to combine the inherent benefits of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) membranes into a single flat-sheet lithium battery separator.

· Excellent resistance to acids, bases, and most chemicals
· Uniform pore structure with high chemical and thermal stability
· Zero TD shrinkage for reduced internal shorting and improved high temperature dimensional stability
